This Lifetime glider bench takes a very practical approach to comfortable outdoor seating. Its sturdy construction and all-weather materials don't require a lot of maintenance or protective storage. Lightweight and easy to transport, the chair is nonetheless durable, with a powder-coated steel frame and a high-impact polyethylene bench and seatback. Comfortable contours and bearings offer a lurch-free glide, so the bench is a terrific spot for flower-gazing, reading, or conversation. Easy to clean and stain-resistant, the piece measures 48 inches wide and stands 33-1/2 inches tall. It does recommend two people to put it together but I only needed help on the very last step so it is very easy to assemble and very sturdy. It glides very smoothly. I'm deaf so I can't tell you if it makes sound when it glides but can say that I LOVE our summer evenings on the back porch now, enjoying our beautiful flowers and fresh air.
